Surveilance Culture
Six days and nights of inspiration over two floors in celebration of the Adidas NMD. As part of Hellicar&Lewis, Adidas challenged us to create a series of interactive installations throughout Future House, a multi-floored space containing music, interaction, and Adidas products – all inspired by the NMD.
Noting the UK’s intense surveillance culture and with a nod to the ever-present selfie generation, we created films and a real-time VJ system that allowed performers to activate visuals with their performances. Our installation consisted of a nine-screen surveillance installation that toyed with viewers’ perception of time. Finally, we built a giant large-scale live video kaleidoscope to encourage new movement and sharing on social networks.
